In this weekly newsletter I want to talk about progress.
You know, when your mind is occupied daily with various administrative activities, clients, calls upon calls, etc., it becomes very difficult to progress.
Basically, this is where that moment comes in when you are more busy than productive.
Take a day off and think about everything that happened this year.
How much progress have you made since the beginning of the year?
What new materials have you prepared?
What new information have you learned?
What percentage do you have until you reach your annual goals?
Lately I’ve been working a lot behind the scenes of the agency, developing new offers and resources that I can’t wait to put to use.
But that couldn’t have happened if I was constantly caught up in administrative work and service delivery.
I delegated as much as I could so that I could be sure that everything was working within normal parameters, with or without me, and dedicated a lot of my time to development.
Do you know when another competitor of yours pops up with different new offers?
Well, so did they.
I’m telling you for sure that if you see someone who is extremely active on social media (we’re talking about a service provider/competitor of yours), I’m thinking of the following scenarios:
- 1. Ori has the entire activity very well set up. Everything is delegated and has a long time to appear online. In this case, he may even be very organized: he plans his days well and is very productive.
- 2. Or he has no activity at all and has a lot of free time and tries his best to “catch something”.
- 3. Or he does this all day, in a context where he has financial security and can afford to post non-stop.
Or maybe it’s an option I haven’t thought of.
Who do you think it would be?
The point is, it’s not wrong to do that. On the contrary, it’s very ok. It increases your visibility and you can attract many customers. It’s important to have something to offer them, because if you don’t, you only get likes for nothing, it doesn’t warm you up at all.
What I mean is make sure you’re making these strides and not stagnating.
It is imperative to progress, especially in a world that is changing at a rapid pace.
For example, I look at what online marketing was like when I started the activity in 2016.
We now have so many digital tools and opportunities with artificial intelligence that it is extremely difficult to keep up with everything new.
Bottom line, make sure you progress a little bit every day.
Don’t hit the spot, because “it’s bad”.
Stay strong.
